Frazier Yassin Jr (born September 25, 1990), better known by his stage name Sergius (formerly “Sergius Paulus “), is an MC/rapper from Lilongwe and President at Bass & Truth Entertainment. In 2009 they released their first and only album Shadows Of The Underground which was under Bass & Truth Entertainment, he later joined Underground HipHop group Royal Blood Army and only worked one album with them. In 2010 Pleonazm with only 3 members started working on another album which wasn’t finished due to other setbacks, In 2012 He started working on a collaborative project (Beatz, Attitude & Rhymez) with fellow Pleonazm/Bass & Truth Member and long time brother Mic Blaze same period he started recording a solo album The Perfect Picture 2 more projects that werent finished after both taking a break from rap in 2014. Later Sergius featured in the Bass & Truth’s first and only album The Kompilation vol. 1, he appeared in the project as solo, with Pleonazm, with Mic Blaze and on featured songs, same year he took a break from rap to get back to school and graduated in 2018 getting his Bachelors Degree in Business Management, in the same year he became President Of Bass & Truth Ent. and returned to recording to work on several unfinished projects with fellow Bass & Truth members, and released a single with Mic Blaze in 2018 from Beats, Attitude & Rhymez (B.A.R.z) which was released on his birthday 25 September in 2020 the album was for free. Later in 2020 Sergius released his first solo album “My Mother’s Child” under Bass & Truth Entertainment, the album was also a part of the launch of a charity campaign the “THE LEARN EASY CAMPAIGN” an education program that aims at providing learning material and other essentials to less privileged primary school kids, the money generated from the album sales was used to help students at Dziwa Schools in Balaka the campaign’s first activity was a success with help from fashion designer M?t by Annie, Justus and Blackmind The Gifted One. The album featured singles like “For The Mothers”, “Streets Is Watching” & “One Of The Best” the album was released on October 15 2020 which was on Mother’s Day, Sergius is set to release several projects in 2022, in April he is dropping “A Fool’s Paradise, A Wiseman’s Hell” with beatmaker Jhon O’ Dreams, this album is the second installment from the “Learn Easy Campaign” catalogue, the album sales will continue in helping the education campaign in different primary schools in Lilongwe. Later in 2022 Sergius is releasing B.A.R.z Vol. 2 with long time brother Mic Blaze also on the list of projects to be released in 2022 are 2 collaborative albums with Justus Divine. Sergius is also Executive Producing BASS & TRUTH ENTERTAINMENT’s second album THE KOMPILATION VOL.2 which features all Members of the team.
