Eminent One, real name Mathews longwe is a HipHop artist based in Lilongwe. He worked on underground projects and in 2010 he formed a group called Authentic Poets, which comprised five members (Alfred Jinazari, Briz the producer, Crossby Msisya, Morton Msisya and Matthews Longwe himself). In 2012 he released a mixtape titled “Silence and Violence” with fellow rapper Joster G, then followed up with another single in 2014 called “Time” which featured Benito and Cadaverous of The Whispers of Doom. In 2016, he released a joint mixtape with his cousin mahiri titled "Ndado zapachulu" which had 8 tracks then he later on released another project titled "Ngozi munthaka" and in 2021 he released an album titled "Mkati Moyesa". Eminent one is currently under Bass & Truth Entertainment and he has announced that he is about to release another album titled "kunja ndi Mkati".
