Flax, real name Limbani Yatina, is a low-key Lilongwe based Malawian hip hop artist who started his on and off hip hop journey way back in the 90s. Inspired by old school underground hip hop groups and artists numerous to mention, Flax has mostly been an underground hip hop fan. However, with growing and evolving as an artist and person, he has over the years leaned more towards conscious, gospel, and jazz hip hop, leading to the motivation to use his music to deliver uplifting positive, motivational, inspirational, and spiritual content to society. The single 'We Gotta Praise the Lord' is Flax's first publicly released song as a solo-artist, and is all about giving praise and glory to God for His love and greatness.
